BookFest 2026
Pupils were inspired by an outstanding line-up of speakers and workshop leaders at 91风流楼凤BookFest 2026, organised by the English Department. They gained a real insight into the creativity, challenges and rewards of being an author.
From poetry workshops with published poet Liz Pywell, to James Brogden’s fascinating look at fantasy fiction and the writing process, pupils explored the craft of storytelling in all its forms. Comedy mystery duo Iain Grant and Heide Goody shared the secrets of collaborative writing, while our own Dan Williams captivated audiences with tales of folklore, myth and local legends across the School grounds.
